XIdol Terms and Conditions

  1. Introduction

    Welcome to XIdol. By using our platform, which involves interaction with X.com (formerly Twitter.com), participating in virtual economies, and using cryptocurrencies, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

  2. Service Description

    XIdol is a social media-based platform that allows users to nurture virtual Idols, earn and use cryptocurrencies ($XID and $FID), participate in a virtual city, and manage fan clubs. All of the interactions are happen either on XIdol website or on X.com through XIdol Web Extension.

  3. User Eligibility

    The platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. By using XIdol, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

  4. Registration and Account Security

    Users registered for our services by linking your X.com account to our services, we DO NOT use any other information except for data we collected legally from X.com. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details, including your two factor secret, XIdol Wallet's private key and your X.com account.

  5. Virtual Economy

    1. Cryptocurrencies ($XID and $FID): Governed by specific rules and may be subject to regulatory oversight.

    2. Virtual Transactions: All virtual transactions on the platform are final and non-refundable.

    3. Earning and Spending: Guidelines on how to earn and spend $XID and $FID are detailed in our Virtual Economy Policy.

  6. User Conduct and Responsibilities

    1. Mission Participation: Rules and guidelines for participating in missions on X.com.

    2. Content Standards: Content created or shared on the platform must comply with applicable laws and not infringe on others' rights.

    3. Prohibited Activities: List of prohibited activities, including hacking, spamming, and other forms of abuse.

    4. Any violation can lead to termination of your XIdol account. If your X.com account is terminated by X.com itself, XIdol deserves the right to decide whether XIdol will terminate your account on XIdol as well.

  7. Intellectual Property Rights

    1. All content on XIdol, unless otherwise specified, is owned by or licensed to XIdol and protected by intellectual property laws. Content created and shared on P2P Tasks System are NOT affiliated with XIdol itself.

    2. Resemblance to Real-Life Individuals

      1. XIdol includes a variety of virtual idols, characters, and avatars created and generated for entertainment purposes.

      2. We acknowledge that these virtual representations may inadvertently resemble real-life individuals.

      3. XIdol asserts that any such resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and unintentional.

      4. XIdol does not intend to replicate or imitate the likeness, image, or persona of any real-life individuals in the creation and presentation of its virtual idols.

      5. Users are also advised to avoid intentionally creating or customizing virtual idols in a manner that closely imitates or infringes upon the likeness of any real-life individuals without their consent.

      6. XIdol reserves the right to modify or remove any content that is found or reported to infringe on the rights of others, including but not limited to intellectual property rights and rights of publicity or privacy.

    3. User-Generated Content

      1. Users may have the ability to create or customize virtual idols or content within XIdol.

      2. It is the responsibility of the users to ensure that such content does not violate the rights of third parties, including intellectual property rights and rights of publicity or privacy.

      3. XIdol is not responsible for user-generated content that may inadvertently or intentionally infringe upon the rights of others.

  8. Data Privacy and Security

    Refer to our Privacy Policy for details on data handling, user privacy, and security measures.

  9. Referral Program

    1. Program Overview: The XIdol Referral Program is designed to reward existing users ("Referrers") for introducing new users ("Referees") to our platform. Participants in the program can earn rewards based on the activities of the users they refer.

    2. Eligibility

      1. All registered users of XIdol are eligible to participate in the Referral Program.

      2. Employees of XIdol and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

    3. Referral Process

      1. Referrers must use the unique referral link provided by XIdol to invite new users.

      2. The Referee must sign up for an XIdol account through the provided referral link for the Referrer to be eligible for rewards.

      3. The Referrer need to have at least 1 Idol that is above level 3 in the inventory to be eligible for rewards

    4. Rewards

      1. Referrers will earn a commission of up to 5% on the qualifying purchases made by their Referees.

      2. Qualifying purchases include:

        1. Character chest purchased using $XID

        2. Consumable chest purchased directly from XIdol Official Store using $XID

        3. Upgrade items purchased using $XID

        4. Rewards will be credited to the Referrer's account in the form of $XID or equivalent items.

    5. Reward Limitations

      1. There is no limit to the number of Referees a Referrer can invite.

      2. Rewards are subject to a maximum cap per Referee, as detailed in the program guidelines.

      3. Rewards are only earned on new purchases made by the Referee and do not apply to Referee's subsequent transactions or purchases beyond the initial period, defined as 3 days after the account is created in our system.

    6. Compliance

      1. Referrers must ensure that their referral activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including marketing and advertising laws.

      2. XIdol reserves the right to disqualify participants from the program for any fraudulent or unethical activities.

    7. Program Modification or Termination

      1. XIdol reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program at any time without prior notice.

      2. Changes to the program will be communicated to participants via notifications through our extension or website.

    8. Disputes and Inquiries

      1. Any disputes or inquiries related to the Referral Program should be directed to contact@xidol.tech.

      2. Decisions by XIdol regarding the Referral Program are final and binding.

  10. Limitations of Liability and Disclaimers

    XIdol's liability in connection with the platform, virtual currencies, and user interactions is limited as described in this section.

  11. Termination and Suspension

    1. Grounds for Termination XIdol reserves the right to terminate or suspend a user's account under the following circumstances:

      1. Violation of any terms within these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to user conduct, intellectual property rights, and use of the virtual economy.

      2. Engaging in illegal activities or conduct that is harmful to other users, the platform, or its reputation.

      3. Providing false or misleading information during account registration or profile updates.

      4. Inactivity: Accounts that remain inactive for an extended period, as defined in our Inactivity Policy, may be subject to termination.

    2. Process of Termination

      1. Notification: Users will be notified of the impending termination or suspension of their account via their registered email address or through in-platform communication.

      2. Opportunity to Respond: Users may be given an opportunity to respond or rectify the issue within a specified period before the account is terminated.

      3. Immediate Termination: In cases of severe violations, XIdol reserves the right to immediately terminate an account without prior notice.

    3. Consequences of Termination Upon termination of an account:

      1. Access to the account and its features will be immediately revoked.

      2. Any accumulated virtual assets, including cryptocurrencies ($XID and $FID), other cryptocurrencies currently held in the wallet, rewards, and virtual items, may be forfeited.

      3. Users will not be entitled to any form of compensation or refund for purchases or accumulated assets.

    4. Appeal Process

      1. Users may appeal the termination decision by contacting XIdol through appeal@xidol.tech.

      2. The appeal must be submitted within 7 days of the account termination notification.

      3. The decision made by XIdol after the appeal is considered final.

    5. Reinstatement of Account

      1. At XIdol's discretion, a terminated account may be reinstated under specific conditions or after rectifying the violation.

      2. Reinstatement may not guarantee the restoration of all previously accumulated assets or account standings.

    6. User-initiated Termination

      1. Users may choose to terminate their account voluntarily by contacting XIdol through contact@xidol.tech.

      2. Voluntary termination will follow a similar process of asset forfeiture as outlined above.

  12. Dispute Resolution

    1. Informal Resolution: Before pursuing formal dispute resolution, users are encouraged to contact XIdol customer service (support@xidol.tech) to seek an informal resolution of their complaint or dispute.

    2. Formal Dispute Notification: If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, users must submit a formal dispute notification to XIdol, outlining the nature of the dispute, the sought resolution, and any supporting documentation.

    3. Mediation

      1. Upon receipt of a formal dispute notification, XIdol may offer mediation, where an impartial mediator will attempt to facilitate a resolution between the user and XIdol.

      2. Participation in mediation is voluntary but encouraged as a step towards amicable resolution.

    4. Binding Arbitration

      1. If mediation fails or is bypassed, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration.

      2. The arbitration will be conducted under the rules of Singapore Courts, and the decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding.

      3. Arbitration will take place in Singapore, and the costs of arbitration will be shared equally between the user and XIdol, unless the arbitrator decides otherwise based on the circumstances.

    5. Limitations

      1. Users must initiate the dispute resolution process within 7 days from the date the dispute arises.

      2. The outcome of the dispute resolution process is final and binding, and no further legal action can be taken by either party in relation to the dispute.

    6. Exclusions: Disputes relating to intellectual property rights, violations of law, or other matters outside the scope of these Terms and Conditions may be taken directly to the competent courts.

    7. Governing Law: The dispute resolution process will be governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

    8. Changes to Dispute Resolution Procedure: XIdol reserves the right to modify the dispute resolution procedure at any time. Changes will be communicated to users via notifications through XIdol Web Browser Extension or through XIdol website.

  13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

    These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and users agree to submit to the jurisdiction of its courts.

  14. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

    XIdol reserves the right to modify these terms. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes agreement to the new terms.

  15. Cryptocurrency Market Risks

    1. Acknowledgment of Risks

      1. Users acknowledge and agree that the cryptocurrencies used on XIdol, namely $XID and $FID, are subject to market fluctuations and inherent risks associated with digital currencies.

      2. The value of $XID and $FID can be extremely volatile and unpredictable, with potential for significant price changes over short periods.

    2. No Guarantee of Value

      1. XIdol does not guarantee any specific value, stability, or profitability of $XID and $FID.

      2. Users recognize that the purchase, holding, and disposal of these cryptocurrencies involve a high risk of loss.

    3. No Responsibility for Market Fluctuations

      1. XIdol is not responsible or liable for any losses or damages resulting from the volatility of the cryptocurrency market.

      2. Users are responsible for their decisions and strategies regarding cryptocurrency transactions on XIdol.

    4. Independent Advice

      1. Users are advised to seek independent financial and legal advice before engaging in substantial cryptocurrency transactions.

      2. Users should carefully consider their financial situation, investment objectives, and risk tolerance before acquiring or disposing of $XID and $FID.

    5. Regulatory Compliance and Changes

      1. Cryptocurrency markets are subject to a variety of laws, regulations, and policies which may change over time.

      2. XIdol will strive to comply with applicable regulations but cannot be held responsible for the impact of any legal or regulatory changes on the value or usability of $XID and $FID.

    6. Acknowledgment by Users: By using XIdol and engaging in transactions involving $XID and $FID, users acknowledge having read and understood the risks associated with cryptocurrency markets and agree to assume all associated risks.
